An Activity for Preschoolers:
Create colorful depictions of grandma and grandpa!
Before You Begin:
To make these adorable portraits, you'll need to gather paper plates, pom-poms, glue, eyes, crayons or tempera sticks and any collage materials desired.
Activity Goals:
To encourage children to create a portrait of their grandparents using collage materials.
Furthermore:
Provide children with a large selection of materials to create truly unique portraits.
Let's Get Started
STEP 1
Paint a paper plate using Colors Like Me® paint and allow to dry.
STEP 2
Use brown and orange tempera sticks to color the outsides of the wreath.
STEP 3
Once the paint is dry, add hair using pom-poms, felt or any other collage materials you like.
STEP 4
Add eyes using glue or use self-adhesive eyes.
STEP 5
Add a mouth and nose using crayons or tempera sticks.
