An Activity for Preschoolers:
Reward grandpa with this rad ribbon for being so cool!
Before You Begin:
To make this award ribbon, gather paper plates, construction paper, glue and any decorating materials desired.
Activity Goals:
To make a gift for grandpa that tells him just how cool he really is.
Furthermore:
This activity can easily be modified for any family member.
Let's Get Started
STEP 1
Trace a circle onto construction paper using a paper plate and cut the circle out about 1/2" bigger than the traced line.
STEP 2
Create fringe by folding the paper circle in half and cutting lines about 2" long around the edges.
STEP 3
Repeat steps 1 and 2 but make a smaller paper circle.
STEP 4
Glue both circles onto the paper plate and decorate with other collage materials to your liking.
STEP 5
Make sunglasses out of black construction paper and glue to the plate.
STEP 6
For the bottom of the ribbon, cut a long construction paper tail and write a message to grandpa.
STEP 7
Give the ribbon to grandpa as a special award!
