Fall Felt Masks
An Activity for Preschoolers:
Plain plastic masks become fantastic animal creations using felt!
Before You Begin:
Gather plastic masks, felt pieces, and glue.
Activity Goals:
Develop fine motor skills
Exercise creativity
Create captivating masks that children can wear for Halloween
Furthermore:
Try making super hero masks with the children.
Let's Get Started
STEP 1
If the children are old enough ask them to cut out shapes from the felt pieces that they will then glue to the mask. Younger children may need your help cutting the felt shapes.
STEP 2
Glue the felt pieces onto the mask in a fashion that resembles an animal. Having some photos of animals out on the table might help.
