An Activity for Preschoolers:
Demonstrate worldwide unity!
Before You Begin:
Help gather the world together, but first gather the following materials: paper plates, markers, Colorations® Colors Like Me® washable paint, brushes and scissors.
Activity Goals:
To demonstrate and represent the many cultures, skin tones and languages that make up our Earth.
Furthermore:
Teachers may wish to prepare stencils or traced handprints in advance to save time while crafting.
Let's Get Started
STEP 1
Using the center of the paper plate as a guide, draw and color the Earth using markers or crayons.
STEP 2
Using either multicultural construction paper or white paper with Colors Like Me® multicultural paint, cut out handprints in various skin tones.
STEP 3
Glue, tape or staple hands to the paper plate to surround the Earth.
