A quick and simple activity to get in the fall spirit!
Before You Begin:
For this simple activity, all you need are paper plates, glue, tempera sticks (orange and brown), fabric leaves, foam leaves and scissors.
Activity Goals:
To learn about how fall weather changes leaves.
Furthermore:
This activity is a great addition to science and nature lessons that discuss the changing colors of leaves. Making fall wreaths also helps the kids get excited for a new season!
Let's Get Started
STEP 1
Cut out the center of a paper plate.
STEP 2
Use brown and orange tempera sticks to color the outsides of the wreath.
STEP 3
Glue fabric leaves on the edges of the wreath.
STEP 4
Glue foam leaves on top to complete your fall wreath.
