An Activity for Preschoolers:
This St. Patrick’s Day, follow the dots to a pot of gold!
Before You Begin:
Cut black craft foam into pot shapes that are ready for children to glue onto paper.
Activity Goals:
To explore primary colors.
To learn the order of the colors of a rainbow.
To create fun, seasonal St. Patrick’s Day artwork.
Furthermore:
This activity can be an excellent way to support and encourage color recognition or the identification of primary/secondary colors.
Let's Get Started
STEP 1
Have children glue craft foam pot shapes onto white construction paper.
STEP 2
Use glue to add glitter for additional embellishments
STEP 3
Have children use Do-A-Dot!™ markers to create a rainbow
STEP 4
Allow art to dry
